Cord Hall at St. John’s Northwestern Academy
2015 Completed Project: Delafield, WI
St. John’s Northwestern Academy selected MSI General to design and renovate the second floor of Cord Hall to create a new collaborative learning environment. In three months, five classrooms were transformed into a larger space now known as The Armer Family Learning Commons. This open-concept space provides a modern, flexible, and welcoming environment for cadets to study, collaborate, and access all SJNMA learning services in one location. The library was streamlined to provide more efficient access to books and print resources. As a part of the renovation, a space known as The Totzke Learning Center provides personalized academic support for cadets, and an exciting new peer tutoring program. The Information Technology help desk is centrally located and provides easy access to support and instruction. The Learning Commons also features a computer lab used for programming classes, Project Lead the Way engineering classes and general computer use. This design created a multi-function learning environment.
