By working hand-in-hand, we ensure that every project is tailored to meet the specific needs and vision of our clients, paving the way for innovative and efficient solutions.
With over 20 years of construction industry experience, John heads our Project Leadership Team as Vice President and Director of Sales, guiding clients through every project with clarity and confidence, from early planning through closeout. He holds an MBA and brings strong business acumen to every partnership, along with a genuine investment in client success as a co-owner of our company. John is actively involved in networking and community relationships and enjoys building partnerships that last well beyond the ribbon cutting.
Cameron McFarland
Project Executive
Cameron has spent over a decade in the construction industry, and as Project Executive, he oversees complex commercial building projects from initial design through final occupancy, managing budget, schedule, and quality every step of the way. He holds an MBA and applies that strategic mindset to every project he leads, while keeping clients, subcontractors, and consultants informed and aligned throughout.
John Holborow
Project Director
A veteran of commercial real estate and construction management, John brings over 20 years of experience to our team. As Project Director, he draws on a broad background in real estate development, land acquisition, entitlements, zoning, and permitting to guide clients through every stage of a project. His depth of experience across the full development lifecycle allows him to anticipate challenges early and keep projects moving smoothly from site selection through final delivery.
We work together to create conceptual estimates, bid and award subcontracts, and monitor the project finances throughout the construction process. By integrating our client’s list of preferred subcontractors and our list of 500+ approved subcontractors, we establish and maintain the project bidders list, which includes 3-4 qualified subcontractors per trade. Our subcontractors are vetted based on quality workmanship, previous performance, a team-oriented approach, and proper insurance.
Erik Brekke
Director of Preconstruction
Decades in the DESIGNBUILD industry have given Erik a hand in planning and executing hundreds of complex residential and commercial buildings. He holds a degree in Communications and leads our Estimating Team as Director of Preconstruction. In this role, he manages the behind-the-scenes details that set every project up for success, including conceptual budgets, hard budget constraints, project documentation, and subcontract negotiation. His steady, detail-driven approach keeps every project grounded from the earliest planning stages.

Andrea Hunley
Director of Design, AIA, LEED AP BD+C
A licensed architect with over 25 years of experience, Andrea has worked across healthcare, retail, religious, educational, business, and industrial project types. She holds a degree in Architectural Studies and has worked in both design-build and traditional architectural firm settings, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the design process. Her strengths in visual representation, technical design documentation, and team collaboration help guide every project from concept through construction documents. Andrea joined MSI General as an architect and has since advanced to Director of Design.
Together, our Project Managers and Project Superintendents form a cohesive unit dedicated to delivering high-quality results. They embody the commitment of MSI General to excellence, with each team member playing a critical role in driving projects to successful completion. Niall Flanagan
Director of Construction
Niall brings over two decades of DESIGNBUILD experience to our team, starting as a superintendent and growing into his current role leading our construction team as Director of Construction. He holds a degree in Construction with a minor in Business Administration, giving him a strong foundation in both the technical and business sides of every project. A resourceful, collaborative leader, Niall builds productive relationships across every team, keeping communication smooth and problems to a minimum from groundbreaking to final walkthrough.
Dustin Bell
Senior Project Manager
Dustin draws on over a decade of construction experience to orchestrate complex projects from inception to completion, keeping them on time and on budget. His background in construction management gives him a strong skill set in scheduling, project management, and construction logistics. His collaborative approach and strong leadership foster productive team environments, making him a pivotal figure in delivering successful projects that meet and exceed client expectations.
Mike Braatz
Senior Project Manager
With 15 years of experience across real estate and construction, Mike brings a well-rounded foundation to every project, grounded in his education in construction and property management. His work spans the full development lifecycle, from investment due diligence and scope development to final budget approval and project management. Energetic and focused, Mike is skilled in negotiation, problem solving, and communication, managing every phase of a project to ensure a smooth outcome for clients.
Damon King
Project Manager
With over a decade of experience across the construction industry, Damon’s background spans everything from estimating to hands-on fieldwork, giving him a broad, ground-level view of every project. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and has managed complex projects from quoting and contracting through scheduling, logistics, and quality control. His broad experience across different sides of construction gives him a sharp eye for coordination and problem solving on every project. Driven by hard work and persistence, Damon brings steady dedication to every project he leads.
Andrew Ziebell
Project Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Andrew brings a strategic, goal-oriented approach to managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. He holds a degree in Marketing, giving him a strong foundation in business development and communication that supports every project he leads. Andrew is proficient across sales, estimation, scheduling, and project analysis, and is known for adapting to major challenges while still meeting timelines and profit goals.
Our Finance and Administration team handles contract management, billing, permits, document control, and coordination between project teams and clients. Their expertise allows for efficient operations, timely project completion, and a streamlined experience for our clients. With a focus on accuracy, transparency, and strategic planning, the team supports the overall success of each project, enabling the construction team to focus on delivering high-quality results.

As a Certified Public Accountant with 10 years of accounting and finance experience, Rich brings a strong foundation in financial management and reporting to his role as Controller. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting as well as a Master’s in Accounting. In his role, Rich oversees the financial health of every project and our company as a whole. His diligence and accuracy give clients and team members confidence in the numbers behind every decision
