Exceptional, high quality, incredible team, high character throughout the entire process.

When we decided to move our manufacturing and repair facility, we looked for an innovative partner we trusted to help accomplish our mission, and we picked MSI General. MSI General understood the criticality of ensuring our operations remain up and running, and that we minimize the downtime associated with the move. They connected deeply with our life-saving, freedom-defending, people-transporting mission. We are excited about the progress and confident that together we will complete the relocation buildout on time and on target!

MSI General has consistently been a great partner to work with as we try to push the envelope and redefine what it means to work in the hospitality industry. Their team is collaborative, creative, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure we are able to realize our vision for the project. Their project management team ensured that we were informed throughout the process of what was happening and why. The Project Director and the onsite team went above and beyond to help us realize our vision and were able to adapt their working style to the way we like to complete these types of projects. Their contractors were always professional, organized, and adapted well to the unique requirements of our project. I look forward to working with them in the future and would recommend them for any team looking for a creative and professional design builder.

We chose and continue to work with MSI General because of our shared values and their willingness to tackle our complex needs with creative solutions and we look forward to building and growing our companies together for years to come.

Working with the great team at MSI General allowed our building project to run as smooth as possible. They went the extra mile to ensure our building would serve our mission well into the future.

Over our thirty-five year careers, we have built many plants and have worked with dozens of contractors. Frankly, the result is a growing disdain for much of the industry, as the simple foundation of honoring one’s commitment seems to escape many in the field. However, to our benefit we chose the perfect partner, MSI General, for our Fond du Lac expansion. We have clearly been with the right contractor. This has been one of the most enjoyable expansion experiences in my career.

We met with several other area Contractors, MSI General was the contractor that stood out from the rest. They took the time to understand what we wanted with our large renovation and addition project. They also understood the budget, and looked for solutions to work within it. The team at MSI General are engaged and aware of the things that need to happen every day to make a project successful. They found a way to deal with the surprises of an old building and make it work and look great!

Crown of Life Christian Academy is thrilled to partner with MSI General. To say our scholars, our parents, our donors, and our faculty and staff are excited is an understatement. MSI General, thank you for your continued dedication to our project. Your team leaves no stone unturned. We value your time, support and expertise throughout this whole process.

Our business suffered a devastating fire, and we were a bit lost on the whole process of rebuilding – figuring out what changes would make sense, navigating code upgrades, figuring out a design scheme, etc. At our first meeting with MSI, we knew they were the company we wanted to work with. They came in for the first walk-through with a whole team and started brainstorming ideas immediately. This experience was so much more personal and reassuring than the ones we had had with other companies.

I'm a big fan of Design-Build the way MSI General does it, especially for churches. They gave us the freedom to get deep into the design process before we had to pay an invoice. Also, we could ask all of our questions around the same table and get them answered right there.

Gerhard’s has partnered with MSI General on numerous award-winning retail showrooms over the years. Our collaboration has enabled Gerhard’s to strengthen our brand by working with a trusted group of DesignBuild professionals.

Working with MSI General on our façade renovation was truly enjoyable. Specific challenges of this project included the delay of material availability while using a separate contractor for the interior buildout. MSI General kept the communication between all parties flowing so that there were no surprises. Their coordination of project flow and deliverables was second to none. Additionally, they were willing and able to help with issues that fell outside of their scope of work, thereby creating a positive experience. I have over 30 years’ experience dealing with the commercial construction industry. This is my second time dealing with MSI General, and I look forward to the next.

Over the years, Go Riteway Transportation Group has partnered with MSI General for both constructing new building and retrofitting existing buildings for our business needs. When designing new facilities, the MSI General team provides expert resources and knowledge regarding building and parking lot design to construct an efficient project on time and within our budget.

It was great working with the MSI General team, they brought great ideas and were flexible to change throughout the project. We’re looking forward to using the space for years to come!

Without MSI General, we would not have been able to get as far as we got. They stepped in early and supported us through the initial phases of due diligence and whether or not this project was going to be a possibility. A good, heart-felt thank you to your team.

Over the years, we have worked with other general contractors and in 2009, decided to enlist the services of MSI General after a thorough vetting out of local contractors. We are happy to say that the professionalism, attention to detail, service level, pricing, and follow up has been tremendous. We have been extremely happy with the workmanship and cooperation we have received over the years and hope to continue our partnership for many years to come. We are very proud of the 10 year working relationship we have had with MSI General and would strongly encourage you to consider this outstanding organization for your future projects.

From the first time we met with MSI General all the way through the finishing touches of our project, they were responsive, professional, and thorough. They took care of all of the permitting, contractors, schedules, and pricing and helped the project move along by thinking of things ahead of time that we never would have realized we even needed! They made sure that the construction was complete on time and under budget. We look forward to working with MSI General for our next big project!

We’ve had the pleasure of working with MSI General in the past, and are excited to have their team with us again on our new addition. They have been very helpful working around our schedule and crowded facility to allow us to keep production going and our customers happy.

MGS has partnered with MSI General on multiple projects varying in complexity, each requiring a variety of subcontractors to get the job done. The MSI General team always delivers the project on time, allowing us to continue our rapid global growth and meet customer expectations.

We consider MSI General a partner in our success and count on them for the decades of experience they bring to the table, especially with grocery retail. Our stores are small compared to others but because of our high traffic and specialty items, our remodels are complicated. Our current Wauwatosa store remodel is no exception! On this job in particular, they have worked with us through many plan iterations and are able to make changes on the spot to ensure our vision comes alive.

MSI General has been phenomenal to work with from day one. The staff is professional, creative, and great problem solvers. They have put up with our idiosyncrasies and content changes. At every juncture, the team meet and exceeded our expectations. When sub-contractors dropped the ball the team from MSI General picked it up and made sure we were ready for our grand opening.

The overall experience was exceptional. The entire staff at MSI General were truly amazing, attentive to our needs and provided us with insights to make the building journey efficient. What is most telling is that we have become close personal friends with many of the people from MSI General. This started as a business arrangement and became family!!

When the Door County Piggly Wiggly decided to refresh and expand our store in Sister Bay, we selected MSI General, another family owned and operated, Wisconsin-based company like us to partner with. The level and quality of communication and collaboration between our team, the Piggly Wiggly Midwest Engineering team and MSI General was critical to the successful completing of the project, on time and on budget, prior to our summer season, while the store remained open for business. Our community was wowed with the new exterior and the store layout, while our employees were given a revitalized workplace that they could be proud to work in.

In my opinion, the key to having a successful construction project is not only the company management but also the subcontractors that they bring to the projects. MSI General had an excellent management team on the recent addition to our industrial building located in Lake Geneva on Geneva Parkway. The team was led by the site manager who was supported by either the owner or a senior leader of the subcontractor. The subs were extremely high quality and had a great deal of respect for MSI General, as a result, they all reacted promptly to direction which is critical for any construction project. You could tell that the subcontractors were a reflection of MSI and all worked hard to complete our project on time and with extremely high quality.

Their team and their process gave me a great deal of confidence allowing me to focus on my on-going business. I recommend MSI General for any project that you are considering. You will be able to continue to run the City and MSI General will take care of any project that you assign to them.

I am convinced that God had his hand in our decision to change from our original general contractor, and going instead with MSI General. Our experience with your company rates as one of the best we have had to date with any organization! Anyone we have ever worked with in MSI General has been of the highest caliber.

We have been thrilled with our relationship with MSI General. From day one, we have been impressed with their team’s professionalism, communication, and attention to the details. We are pleased to say that MSI General is more than a hired service provider—they are a true partner!

Our fire department and building committee were not experienced in the process of building such a complex structure in conjunction with using part of the existing building. Our committee included people in the trades, but we needed the MSI General team to bring the project together – on time and on budget. From the first proposal, to the final punch list corrections, we were always handled in a professional manner. As the committee chairman, I was always extended an understanding ear by every MSI General department, no matter how frequent or simple my inquiries. I am sure you had many people behind the scenes coordinating a project of this complexity. We received numerous compliments from our citizens and from outside our village on how this structure fits into the residential neighborhood. Also, we met the initial timeline and came in $114,000 under budget, and that included almost $250,000 of loose items we bought and MSI General had no control over. Great job MSI General!

We were very happy. I always felt MSI General was very honest up front. They want to stand out for their integrity. Their people are very good. This was not an easy job; they have to be very responsible. It involves longs days, then night meetings. It’s not easy to find people of integrity to work for them but they do find good people; they’re always willing to come back and help.

MSI General has been an outstanding design-build partner to work with. Their architects, engineers, designers and operations personnel are all first class. We cannot say enough about them and their dedication to St Theresa over the seven years that it took to help us finally achieve our goal of having a new Fellowship Hall/Office for our parish.

For the Village of Summit, this was a large and complex project. MSI General worked with our staff to meet the requirements of the State Statutes of the State of Wisconsin. Working together with MSI General, we were able to complete the project with changes and below our budgeted amount! We were fortunate to have partnered with a firm that would focus on the details to allow that to happen.

I would highly recommend MSI General to any organization looking for a hard-working firm in the Design Build or Construction Management roll. They worked diligently with us to understand our needs and helped us meet or exceed our goals.

The partnership we have made with MSI General is an extension of how we build relationships with our customers. We appreciate their attention to detail, accountability in achieving milestones and flexibility to hurdles along the way; these are key elements for a successful project. MSI General’s responsiveness and professionalism are truly world class, a partner we know we can rely on.

Since buying Tanis, Inc in 2020, we have used MSI General on three large projects at our location in Delafield, WI. Each one has been extremely successful and put our company in a spot to focus on growth while having more modern office spaces for our employees. MSI General is our first and only call when we need to improve our building and workspaces. John Kutz and Ken Krahe truly are dedicated to providing great teams to manage their projects.

Working with MSI General on this project has been a pleasure…again! We contracted them for our first building in 2011. The team they put on the field this time and the entire organization has once again delivered across all disciplines from design, project management, and through construction…especially during these tough and trying times – they have remained on-scope, on-budget, and on-time. Well done!

When looking for a partner to help bring our vision to life, we looked no further than MSI General. The Boat House team strives to hold ourselves to industry-leading standards, and we wanted the same with our general contractor. The minute we started working with the team at MSI General, we knew we made the right decision, and we could not be happier with our results to date.

MSI General built T-Lon Products a Showcase building over ten years ago, then an addition five years later. When we needed to build out a portion of our interior, it was an easy choice to have them continue with their excellence in building to accomplish our goal. The entire MSI team was wonderful to work with. Our build-out was on time and at budget. MSI General did everything they said they would do and more!

We have partnered with the team at MSI General for many years and truly believe they rank amongst the top design-build general contractors in Southeast Wisconsin. They’ve taken the traditional Design-Build model and simplified it for the benefit of their clients. MSI General incorporates in-house architects, estimators, engineers, designers, and project managers — a team who is aligned to their clients’ projects, from day one through completion. We look forward to partnering with the talented team at MSI General for years to come.
