MGS Mfg Group
2015 Completed Project: Germantown, WI
MGS Mfg. Group is a leading global provider of optimized manufacturing solutions for high precision plastic products. MSI General provided the DesignBuild solution for a 15,000 sq. ft. Class 8 Cleanroom.
The project area of 19,754 sq. ft., within the MGS plant, included the removal of existing rooms, the construction of the new Cleanroom, and the construction of related adjacent rooms, and a 4,166 sq. ft. equipment mezzanine.
The work included related fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical work. This new clean room will allow MGS to expand production of plastic extrusion of medical products.
2019 Completed Project: Germantown, WI
MGS Mfg Group partnered once again with MSI General to DesignBuild another Class 8 Cleanroom for them.
The project included the total removal of the existing structure, roof, and concrete floors to create a Cleanroom with a 20-ton crane, 90’ clear span engineering to allow for larger presses and an increased investment in production capabilities for the medical clients that MGS works with. The removal and replacement of over 20,000 sq. ft. of roof structure was completed in less than three weeks during November, while the staff at MGS continued to work three shifts.
MGS Mfg Group will go to extreme lengths to deliver unique, innovative solutions to their clients and constructing a new Class 8 Cleanroom inside their current 200,000 sq. ft. facility was no different.
