We partnered with the Village of Summit to deliver a consolidated municipal campus that brings Village Hall, Police Department, Department of Public Works, and Salt Storage operations together within a single, purpose-built facility. The project was envisioned to improve operational efficiency, centralize public services, and provide a long-term civic asset that reflects the character and needs of the Summit community.
Throughout planning and preconstruction, we worked closely with Village leadership, department staff, and project stakeholders to align space needs, operational workflows, and regulatory requirements. Early coordination allowed the team to evaluate adjacencies, site circulation, and durability considerations while maintaining clear visibility into budget parameters and scheduling priorities. This collaborative approach supported informed decision-making and ensured the facility met both current demands and future municipal growth.
Using our DESIGNBUILD delivery method, we provided single-source responsibility for design coordination and construction execution. Early integration of design and construction teams enabled proactive cost control, streamlined approvals, and schedule certainty from concept through completion. The result is a cohesive municipal campus delivered efficiently, responsibly, and with long-term performance in mind.
For the Village of Summit, this was a large and complex project. MSI General worked with our staff to meet the requirements of the State Statutes of the State of Wisconsin. Working together with MSI General, we were able to complete the project with changes and below our budgeted amount! We were fortunate to have partnered with a firm that would focus on the details to allow that to happen. I would highly recommend MSI General to any organization looking for a hard-working firm in the DesignBuild or Construction Management role. They worked diligently with us to understand our needs and helped us meet or exceed our goals.
