Aquatech

This renovation reconfigured portions of the AquaTech facility to support evolving operations and the relocation of personnel and laboratory functions. Updated interior areas modernized the facility while maintaining daily operations, creating an efficient environment that supports AquaTech’s continued growth and technical activities.

Working closely with AquaTech leadership, the team coordinated phased planning to minimize disruption while aligning the renovated spaces with operational workflows and staffing needs. The roof was raised to create a new high-bay area supporting expanded laboratory operations and specialized equipment. The project included selective demolition and interior reconfiguration to establish updated office areas, support spaces, and specialized laboratory environments. Improvements incorporated new utility infrastructure for laboratory operations, including compressed air, specialty gases, vacuum systems, and non-potable water connections, along with upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to support advanced testing and research activities.

The project was delivered using MSI General’s DESIGNBUILD approach, integrating planning, design coordination, and construction into a single streamlined process. This collaborative delivery method enabled the team to coordinate phased relocations, integrate specialized laboratory infrastructure, and maintain schedule certainty while the facility remained operational.
