NorthSouth Club

We partnered with Bars & Rec to transform a 1940s heavy equipment building in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point neighborhood into NorthSouth Club, an energetic activity center and bar designed for modern social recreation. The former industrial garage, defined by its clear span steel girder trusses, provided a bold structural canvas as we converted the space into a dynamic, guest-focused entertainment venue.

Collaborating closely with Bars & Rec and the design team, we modernized the building’s core infrastructure to support its new high-traffic use. Comprehensive electrical and plumbing upgrades were completed alongside new walls and durable flooring systems, with thoughtful space planning to enhance circulation and safety. A refreshed façade strengthened the building’s street presence, blending the historic industrial character with a contemporary identity that aligns with the Walker’s Point neighborhood.

Through our integrated DESIGNBUILD delivery method, MSI General aligned design coordination, budgeting, and field execution to maintain schedule certainty and cost control. The completed NorthSouth Club now operates as a unique dual activity entertainment destination featuring sixteen axe throwing lanes and seven shuffleboard courts, bringing new life to a historic structure while delivering a high-performance recreational experience.
