MGS Innovation Center

We partnered with MGS, a valued repeat client, to expand the company’s global headquarters with the MGS Innovation Center, a centralized hub for advanced manufacturing, automation, and product innovation. The facility brings collaborative workspaces, advanced production environments, and specialized laboratory spaces together on a single campus to support continued growth and innovation in healthcare manufacturing.

Working closely with MGS leadership and project stakeholders, the team coordinated the expansion to connect two previously separate buildings while maintaining safe operations within an active campus environment. The facility includes Class 8 cleanroom space, a dedicated quality laboratory, flexible tooling and assembly areas, and production environments designed to support product and tooling development. Strategic planning enabled the consolidation of the company’s Global Automation Center and Sampling Facility into a single location, improving collaboration, operational efficiency, and resource utilization while supporting continued growth in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and MedTech markets.

The project was delivered using MSI General’s DESIGNBUILD approach, integrating planning, architecture, engineering, and construction into a coordinated process. This collaborative delivery method enabled the team to execute construction between two occupied facilities while maintaining campus access and daily operations. Through careful coordination and integrated project management, the Innovation Center provides MGS with a flexible, high-performance environment that supports innovation, global collaboration, and long-term operational growth.

The MGS Innovation Center was recognized with a Top Projects Award from The Daily Reporter, honoring the project’s innovation, collaboration, and successful execution within an active operational campus.
