Astronautics

MSI General partnered with Astronautics Corporation of America to transform an existing building in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, into the company’s new corporate headquarters through a multiphase renovation. Astronautics designs and manufactures avionics and connectivity solutions for the aerospace industry. The project consolidated its lab, assembly, and testing operations into one facility.

The largest scope converted 77,377 SF of warehouse space into consolidated lab, assembly, and testing facilities. A 12,242 SF lab renovation brought previously separate lab, assembly, and testing functions together, and a 5,065 SF lab renovation added further lab space. Phase IV added a 1,067 SF EMI (electromagnetic interference) room buildout.

In the office areas, MSI General remodeled 19,495 SF. This included the first-floor reception and front-office zone and a second-floor cluster of executive offices, IT, and engineering labs.
